Benefits of Tomatoes.
Tomatoes are one of the healthiest foods you will find on the market, not only for their vitamins and nutrients, but also for their high antioxidant content. According to several studies, it can help prevent a large number of cancers. Tomato juice is an excellent option to benefit from the properties of this succulent fruit.
Lycopene is one of the most powerful antioxidants in the world. It is present in tomatoes and their juice. A glass of tomato juice contains about 50% of the daily requirement of lycopene.
This antioxidant helps you fight free radicals that cause premature aging of the skin and are responsible for diseases such as cancer. In addition, it is good for protecting your heart by promoting the reduction of cholesterol. Therefore, a glass of tomato juice a day will improve your health.
Tomato juice is rich in vitamin C, an essential nutrient for good health. Vitamin C strengthens the immune system and improves healing. Drinking tomato juice allows your body to receive a good dose of vitamin C.
Vitamin A (or carotene) is also present in tomato juice. It provides your body with beta-carotene, which preserves the condition of your eyesight, bones, teeth and immune system.
Another benefit of tomato juice: its contribution of vitamin K, a fundamental component for the absorption of calcium. Its consumption guarantees you healthier bones and teeth.
In addition, tomato juice contains potassium, an essential mineral that promotes cell development and keeps your muscles healthy. This is why tomato juice is a good option for athletes.

GOD'S PEOPLE DELIVERED
Amid the reeling of the earth, the flash of lightning, and the roar of thunder, the voice of the Son of God calls forth the sleeping saints. He looks upon the graves of the righteous, then raising his hands to heaven he cries, “Awake, awake, awake, ye that sleep in the dust, and arise!” Throughout the length and breadth of the earth, the dead shall hear that voice; and they that hear shall live. And the whole earth shall ring with the tread of the exceeding great army of every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. From the prison-house of death they come, clothed with immortal glory, crying, “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is the victory?” [1 Corinthians 15:55.] And the living righteous and the risen saints unite their voices in a long, glad shout of victory.
All come forth from their graves the same in stature as when they entered the tomb. Adam, who stands among the risen throng, is of lofty height and majestic form, in stature but little below the Son of God. He presents a marked contrast to the people of later generations; in this one respect is shown the great degeneracy of the race. But all arise with the freshness and vigor of eternal youth. In the beginning, man was created in the likeness of God, not only in character, but in form and feature. Sin defaced and almost obliterated the divine image; but Christ came to restore that which had been lost. He will change our vile bodies, and fashion them like unto his glorious body. The mortal, corruptible form, devoid of comeliness, once polluted with sin, becomes perfect, beautiful, and immortal. All blemishes and deformities are left in the grave. Restored to the tree of life in the long-lost Eden, the redeemed will “grow up” [Malachi 4:2.] to the full stature of the race in its primeval glory. The last lingering traces of the curse of sin will be removed, and Christ’s faithful ones will appear “in the beauty of the Lord our God;” in mind and soul and body reflecting the perfect image of their Lord. Oh, wonderful redemption! long talked of, long hoped for, contemplated with eager anticipation, but never fully understood.
The living righteous are changed “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.” At the voice of God they were glorified; now they are made immortal, and with the risen saints are caught up to meet their Lord in the air. Angels “gather together the elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Little children are borne by holy angels to their mothers’ arms. Friends long separated by death are united, nevermore to part, and with songs of gladness ascend together to the city of God. 645.1
The health benefits of fasting.
Fasting can significantly increase the regenerative capacity of stem cells, up to 2 times.
The body cleans out damaged cells during fasting and regenerates new stem cells, promoting longevity and reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
Fasting can improve your gut health. Give your digestive system a break.
Fasting allows healing and reduces symptoms of gut issues such as bloating, inflammation, leaky gut, and dysbiosis.
Fasting improves brain function.
It supports cognitive function, learning, and memory, while protecting against neurodegenerative diseases.
Fasting has a significant impact on your body’s hormonal balance.
Especially when it comes to your growth hormone, insulin, and other key hormones that influence metabolism, muscle growth, and overall energy levels.
May aid in weight loss.
Studies show that controlling meal times—or short-term fasts—can help with weight loss, fat loss, and improved blood lipids.
Fasting helps regulate your blood sugar, increases insulin sensitivity, and reduces inflammation.
Which can help prevent metabolic disorders like type 2 diabetes
Fasting helps reduce your risk of heart disease, cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders thanks to its anti-inflammatory and cell repair benefits.
May aid in disease prevention
Lightening your eating habits appears to give the body time to focus on other important functions, including diseaseFasting appears to boost levels of human growth hormone, a hormone that plays an important role in growth and repair, metabolism, weight loss, muscle strength, and physical performance.
Here are some of the benefits of fasting.
If you decide to try fasting, limit the times of day you eat and ideally eat earlier rather than later (try to eat within the first 6-8 hours of waking). Remember that the quantity and quality of the foods you eat during your fasting period are crucial, so try to eat a varied and balanced diet that includes whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and a variety of lean proteins.

Desolation of the Earth
Her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.” “In the cup which she hath filled, fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her; for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, … saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.” [Revelation 18:5-10, 3, 15-17.]
“The merchants of the earth,” that have “waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies,” “shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, and saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to naught.” [Revelation 18:5-10, 3, 15-17.]
Such are the judgments that fall upon Babylon in the day of the visitation of God’s wrath. She has filled up the measure of her iniquity; her time has come; she is ripe for destruction. 653.3

Desolation of the Earth
To God’s people, the captivity of Satan will bring gladness and rejoicing. Says the prophet: “It shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy trouble, and from the hard service wherein thou wast made to serve, that thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon [here representing Satan], and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! … The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers; that smote the peoples in wrath with a continual stroke, that ruled the nations in anger, with a persecution that none restrained.” [Isaiah 14:3-6, Revised Version.]
During the thousand years between the first and the second resurrection, the Judgment of the wicked takes place. The apostle Paul points to this Judgment as an event that follows the second advent. “Judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts.” [1 Corinthians 4:5.] Daniel declares that when the Ancient of days came, “Judgment was given to the saints of the Most High.” [Daniel 7:22.] At this time the righteous reign as kings and priests unto God. John in the Revelation says: “I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them.” “They shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” [Revelation 20:4, 6; 1 Corinthians 6:2, 3.] It is at this time that, as foretold by Paul, “the saints shall judge the world.” [Revelation 20:4, 6; 1 Corinthians 6:2, 3.] In union with Christ they judge the wicked, comparing their acts with the statute book, the Bible, and deciding every case according to the deeds done in the body. Then the portion which the wicked must suffer is meted out, according to their works; and it is recorded against their names in the book of death.
Satan also and evil angels are judged by Christ and his people. Says Paul, “Know ye not that we shall judge angels?” [Revelation 20:4, 6; 1 Corinthians 6:2, 3.] And Jude declares that “the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains-under darkness unto the Judgment of the great day.” [Jude 6.]
At the close of the thousand years the second resurrection will take place. Then the wicked will be raised from the dead, and appear before God for the execution of “the judgment written.” Thus the Revelator, after describing the resurrection of the righteous, says, “The rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.” [Revelation 20:5; Isaiah 24:22.] And Isaiah declares, concerning the wicked, “They shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited” [Revelation 20:5; Isaiah 24:2-26 661.2

The Controversy Ended
The redeemed raise a song of praise that echoes and re-echoes through the vaults of heaven, “Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.” And angel and seraph unite their voices in adoration. As the redeemed have beheld the power and malignity of Satan, they have seen, as never before, that no power but that of Christ could have made them conquerors. In all that shining throng there are none to ascribe salvation to themselves, as if they had prevailed by their own power and goodness. Nothing is said of what they have done or suffered; but the burden of every song, the key-note of every anthem, is, Salvation to our God, and unto the Lamb.
In the presence of the assembled inhabitants of earth and Heaven the final coronation of the Son of God takes place. And now, invested with supreme majesty and power, the King of kings pronounces sentence upon the rebels against his government, and executes justice upon those who have transgressed his law and oppressed his people. Says the prophet of God: “I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” [Revelation 20:11, 12.]
As soon as the books of record are opened, and the eye of Jesus looks upon the wicked, they are conscious of every sin which they have ever committed. They see just where their feet diverged from the path of purity and holiness, just how far pride and rebellion have carried them in the violation of the law of God. The seductive temptations which they encouraged by indulgence in sin, the blessings perverted, the messengers of God despised, the warnings rejected, the waves of mercy beaten back by the stubborn, unrepentant heart,—all appear as if written in letters of fire. 666.1

The Controversy Ended
Amid the ransomed throng are the apostles of Christ, the heroic Paul, the ardent Peter, the loved and loving John, and their true-hearted brethren, and with them the vast host of martyrs; while outside the walls, with every vile and abominable thing, are those by whom they were persecuted, imprisoned, and slain. There is Nero, that monster of cruelty and vice, beholding the joy and exaltation of those whom he once tortured, and in whose extremest anguish he found Satanic delight. His mother is there to witness the result of her own work; to see how the evil stamp of character transmitted to her son, the passions encouraged and developed by her influence and example, have borne fruit in crimes that caused the world to shudder.
There are papist priests and prelates, who claimed to be Christ’s ambassadors, yet employed the rack, the dungeon, and the stake to control the consciences of his people. There are the proud pontiffs who exalted themselves above God, and presumed to change the law of the Most High. Those pretended fathers of the church have an account to render to God from which they would fain be excused. Too late they are made to see that the Omniscient One is jealous of his law, and that he will in nowise clear the guilty. They learn now that Christ identifies his interest with that of his suffering people; and they feel the force of his own words, “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” [Matthew 25:40.
The whole wicked world stand arraigned at the bar of God, on the charge of high treason against the government of Heaven. They have none to plead their cause; they are without excuse; and the sentence of eternal death is pronounced against them. 668.2

AIM OF THE GREAT REBEL
The aim of the great rebel has ever been to justify himself, and to prove the divine government responsible for the rebellion. To this end he has bent all the power of his giant intellect. He has worked deliberately and systematically, and with marvelous success, leading vast multitudes to accept his version of the great controversy which has been so long in progress. For thousands of years this chief of conspiracy has palmed off falsehood for truth. But the time has now come when the rebellion is to be finally defeated, and the history and character of Satan disclosed. In his last great effort to dethrone Christ, destroy his people, and take possession of the city of God, the arch-deceiver has been fully unmasked. Those who have united with him see the total failure of his cause. Christ’s followers and the loyal angels behold the full extent of his machinations against the government of God. He is the object of universal abhorrence.
Satan sees that his voluntary rebellion has unfitted him for Heaven. He has trained his powers to war against God; the purity, peace, and harmony of Heaven would be to him supreme torture. His accusations against the mercy and justice of God are now silenced. The reproach which he has endeavored to cast upon Jehovah rests wholly upon himself. And now Satan bows down, and confesses the justice of his sentence.
“Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” [Revelation 15:4.] Every question of truth and error in the long-standing controversy has now been made plain. The results of rebellion, the fruits of setting aside the divine statutes, have been laid open to the view of all created intelligences. The working out of Satan’s rule in contrast with the government of God, has been presented to the whole universe. Satan’s own works have condemned him. God’s wisdom, his justice, and his goodness stand fully vindicated. It is seen that all his dealings in the great controversy have been conducted with respect to the eternal good of his people, and the good of all the worlds that he has created. “All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.” [Psalm 145:10.] The history of sin will stand to all eternity as a witness that with the existence of God’s law is bound up the happiness of all the beings he has created. With all the facts of the great controversy in view, the whole universe, both loyal and rebellious, with one accord declare, “Just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.” 670.2

Controversy Ended.
Before the universe has been clearly presented the great sacrifice made by the Father and the Son in man’s behalf. The hour has come when Christ occupies his rightful position, and is glorified above principalities and powers and every name that is named. It was for the joy that was set before him,—that he might bring many sons unto glory,—that he endured the cross and despised the shame. And inconceivably great as was the sorrow and the shame, yet greater is the joy and the glory. He looks upon the redeemed, renewed in his own image, every heart bearing the perfect impress of the divine, every face reflecting the likeness of their King. He beholds in them the result of the travail of his soul, and he is satisfied. Then, in a voice that reaches the assembled multitudes of the righteous and the wicked, he declares, “Behold the purchase of my blood! For these I suffered; for these I died; that they might dwell in my presence throughout eternal ages.” And the song of praise ascends from the white-robed ones about the throne, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.” [Revelation 5:12.]
Notwithstanding that Satan has been constrained to acknowledge God’s justice, and to bow to the supremacy of Christ, his character remains unchanged. The spirit of rebellion, like a mighty torrent, again bursts forth. Filled with frenzy, he determines not to yield the great controversy. The time has come for a last desperate struggle against the King of Heaven. He rushes into the midst of his subjects, and endeavors to inspire them with his own fury, and arouse them to instant battle. But of all the countless millions whom he has allured into rebellion, there are none now to acknowledge his supremacy. His power is at an end. The wicked are filled with the same hatred of God that inspires Satan; but they see that their case is hopeless, that they cannot prevail against Jehovah. Their rage is kindled against Satan and those who have been his agents in deception, and with the fury of demons they turn upon them. Saith the Lord: “Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit.” “I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire…. I will cast thee to the ground. I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.” “I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee…. Thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.” [Ezekiel 28:6-8, 16-19.] 672.1
Satan’s work
Satan’s work of ruin is forever ended. For six thousand years he has wrought his will, filling the earth with woe, and causing grief throughout the universe. The whole creation has groaned and travailed together in pain. Now God’s creatures are forever delivered from his presence and temptations. “The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet; they [the righteous] break forth into singing.” [Isaiah 14:7.] And a shout of praise and triumph ascends from the whole loyal universe. “The voice of a great multitude,” “as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings,” is heard, saying, “Alleluia; for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.”
While the earth was wrapped in the fire of destruction, the righteous abode safely in the holy city. Upon those that had part in the first resurrection, the second death has no power. [Revelation 20:6; Psalm 84:11.] While God is to the wicked a consuming fire, he is to his people both a sun and a shield. [Revelation 20:6; Psalm 84:11.]
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away.” [Revelation 21:1.] The fire that consumes the wicked purifies the earth. Every trace of the curse is swept away. No eternally burning hell will keep before the ransomed the fearful consequences of sin.
One reminder alone remains: our Redeemer will ever bear the marks of his crucifixion. Upon his wounded head, upon his side, his hands and feet, are the only traces of the cruel work that sin has wrought. Says the prophet, beholding Christ in his glory, “He had bright beams coming out of his side; and there was the hiding of his power.” [Habakkuk 3:4 (Margin)] That pierced side whence flowed the crimson stream that reconciled man to God,—there is the Saviour’s glory, there “the hiding of his power.” “Mighty to save,” through the sacrifice of redemption, he was therefore strong to execute justice upon them that despised God’s mercy. And the tokens of his humiliation are his highest honor; through the eternal ages the wounds of Calvary will show forth his praise, and declare his power. 674.1
THE SUNDAY LAW
Constantine’s Sunday law, issued A.D. 321, was as follows:
“Let all the judges and town people, and the occupation of all trades rest on the venerable day of the sun; but let those who are situated in the country, freely and at full liberty attend to the business of agriculture; because it often happens that no other day is so fit for sowing corn and planting vines; lest, the critical moment being let slip, men should lose the commodities granted by heaven.
Of this law, so high an authority as the “Encyclopedia Brittannica” plainly says: “It was Constantine the Great who first made a law for the proper observance of Sunday; and who, according to Eusebius, appointed that it should be regularly celebrated throughout the Roman empire. Before him, and even in his time, they observed the Jewish Sabbath, as well as Sunday.” As to the degree of reverence with which Sunday was regarded, and the manner of its observance, Mosheim says that in consequence of the law enacted by Constantine, the first day of the week was “observed with greater solemnity than it had formerly been.” [Eccl. Hist. Cent. 4, part 2, chap. 4, sec. 5.] Yet Constantine permitted all kinds of agricultural labor to be performed on Sunday! Bishop Taylor declares that “the primitive Christians did all manner of works upon the Lord’s day.” [Duct. Dubitant., part 1, book 2, chap. 2, rule 6, sec. 59.] The same statement is made by Morer: “The day [Sunday] was not wholly kept in abstaining form common business; nor did they [Christians] any longer rest from their ordinary affairs (such was the necessity of those times) than during the divine service.” [Dialogues on the Lord’s Day, p. 233.] Says Cox: “There is no evidence that either at this [the time of Constantine], or at a period much later, the observance was viewed as deriving any obligation from the fourth commandment; it seems to have been regarded as an institution corresponding in nature with Christmas, Good Friday, and other festivals of the church.” [Cox’s Sabbath Laws, p. 281.] 679.3
Our High Priest in the Holy of Holies(GOD)
The subject of the sanctuary was the key which unlocked the mystery of the disappointment of 1844. It opened to view a complete system of truth, connected and harmonious, showing that God’s hand had directed the great advent movement and revealing present duty as it brought to light the position and work of His people. As the disciples of Jesus after the terrible night of their anguish and disappointment were “glad when they saw the Lord,” so did those now rejoice who had looked in faith for His second coming. They had expected Him to appear in glory to give reward to His servants. As their hopes were disappointed, they had lost sight of Jesus, and with Mary at the sepulcher they cried: “They have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid Him.” Now in the holy of holies they again beheld Him, their compassionate High Priest, soon to appear as their king and deliverer. Light from the sanctuary illumined the past, the present, and the future. They knew that God had led them by His unerring providence. Though, like the first disciples, they themselves had failed to understand the message which they bore, yet it had been in every respect correct. In proclaiming it they had fulfilled the purpose of God, and their labor had not been in vain in the Lord. Begotten “again unto a lively hope,” they rejoiced “with joy unspeakable and full of glory.” 101.1
Christ in the Sacrificial System
The sin of our first parents brought guilt and sorrow upon the world, and had it not been for the goodness and mercy of God, would have plunged the race into hopeless despair.
The fall of man filled all heaven with sorrow. The world that God had made was blighted with the curse of sin and inhabited by beings doomed to misery and death. There appeared no escape for those who had transgressed the law.
But divine love had conceived a plan whereby man might be redeemed. The broken law of God demanded the life of the sinner. In all the universe there was but one who could, in behalf of man, satisfy its claims. Since the divine law is as sacred as God Himself, only one equal with God could make atonement for its transgression.
To man the first intimation of redemption was communicated in the sentence pronounced upon Satan in the garden. The Lord declared, “I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15. This sentence, uttered in the hearing of our first parents, was to them a promise. While it foretold war between man and Satan, it declared that the power of the great adversary would finally be broken…. Though they must suffer from the power of their mighty foe, they could look forward to final victory.
Heavenly angels more fully opened to our first parents the plan that had been devised for their salvation. Adam and his companion were assured that notwithstanding their great sin, they were not to be abandoned to the control of Satan. The Son of God had offered to atone, with His own life, for their transgression. A period of probation would be granted them, and through repentance, and faith in Christ, they might again become the children of God. 20.1

I saw that we should not put off the coming of the Lord. Said the angel: “Prepare, prepare, for what is coming upon the earth. Let your works correspond with your faith.” I saw that the mind must be stayed upon God, and that our influence should tell for God and His truth. We cannot honor the Lord when we are careless and indifferent. We cannot glorify Him when we are desponding. We must be in earnest to secure our own soul’s salvation, and to save others. All importance should be attached to this, and everything besides should come in secondary.
I saw the beauty of heaven. I heard the angels sing their rapturous songs, ascribing praise, honor, and glory to Jesus. I could then realize something of the wondrous love of the Son of God. He left all the glory, all the honor which He had in heaven, and was so interested for our salvation that He patiently and meekly bore every indignity and slight which man could heap upon Him. He was wounded, smitten, and bruised; He was stretched on Calvary’s cross and suffered the most agonizing death to save us from death, that we might be washed in His blood and be raised up to live with Him in the mansions He is preparing for us, to enjoy the light and glory of heaven, to hear the angels sing, and to sing with them.
I saw that all heaven is interested in our salvation; and shall we be indifferent? Shall we be careless, as though it were a small matter whether we are saved or lost? Shall we slight the sacrifice that has been made for us? Some have done this. They have trifled with offered mercy, and the frown of God is upon them. God’s Spirit will not always be grieved. It will depart if grieved a little longer. After all has been done that God could do to save men, if they show by their lives that they slight Jesus’ offered mercy, death will be their portion, and it will be dearly purchased. It will be a dreadful death; for they will have to feel the agony that Christ felt upon the cross to purchase for them the redemption which they have refused. And they will then realize what they have lost—eternal life and the immortal inheritance. The great sacrifice that has been made to save souls shows us their worth. When the precious soul is once lost, it is lost forever. 41.3
The End Time
But who reads the warnings given by the fast-fulfilling signs of the times? What impression is made upon worldlings? What change is seen in their attitude? No more than was seen in the attitude of the inhabitants of the Noachian world. Absorbed in worldly business and pleasure, the antediluvians “knew not until the Flood came, and took them all away.” Matthew 24:39. They had heaven-sent warnings, but they refused to listen. And today the world, utterly regardless of the warning voice of God, is hurrying on to eternal ruin.
The world is stirred with the spirit of war. The prophecy of the eleventh chapter of Daniel has nearly reached its complete fulfillment. Soon the scenes of trouble spoken of in the prophecies will take place.
“Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof…. Because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate…. The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.” Isaiah 24:1-8.
“Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come….” Joel 1:15.
“I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down.” Jeremiah 4:23-26. CCh 39.2
“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7.
Not all in this world have taken sides with the enemy against God. Not all have become disloyal. There are a faithful few who are true to God; for John writes: “Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12. Soon the battle will be waged fiercely between those who serve God and those who serve Him not. Soon everything that can be shaken will be shaken, that those things that cannot be shaken may remain. 39.4
The Fifth Trumpet or First Woe
Revelation 9:1-4 “And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.”
In looking at the fifth trumpet, we need to remember that the Western Roman Empire has now already been extinguished. The Eastern part of the empire is still in existence, and it is to here that our attention is turned as we continue to look at the downfall of the Roman Empire. This places our time frame at some time after the fall of the West, or after 476 A.D.
We are given a number of identifying marks in these verses, which we will now look at and will be able to gain a satisfactory interpretation.
Star fall from heaven to earth – We have already seen that a star represents a leader, and one that falls is one that is apostate.
To him was given the key – To this apostate leader was given a key. A key is a symbol of power and authority over that which the key is for, to open and close.
Of the bottomless pit – This key, that the apostate leader has, was to the bottomless pit.

Benefits Of Practicing A Regular Sport Activity
Here are the various benefits of practicing a regular sport activity:
1. Reduced risk of disease
2. Reduced blood pressure
3. Increased strength of ligaments and tendons
4. Reduces stress and helps with healing and depression
5. Improved sleep
6. Reduced risk of many types of cancer (including colon, prostate and breast)
7. Improved physical appearance
8. Improved self-confidence
9. Strengthening bones, reducing the risk of osteoporosis
10. Energy increase
One study showed that the overall death rate of a group that engaged in average physical activity was 60% lower than that of the sedentary control group.
It is best to practice regular aerobic physical activity (with oxygen). This helps speed up your heart and breathing rate, and increases air consumption.
This type of activity includes sports such as walking, swimming, cycling, rowing and cross-country skiing. A key aspect of this type of activity is that it involves at least 20 minutes of continuous, rhythmic exertion of the most important muscles, in all parts of the body.
Although our hearts also benefit from the significant but brief effort required in certain sports such as tennis and basketball, these are not optimal forms of aerobic physical activity.

The Prostate
The prostate is a hyper fragile gland located below the bladder of men, it can become the target of several infections or chronic diseases because of certain factors.
So to take care of your prostate, you can rely on the consumption of certain recognized plants namely:
_ The saw palmetto
_ The African plum tree
_ The nettle
_ Pumpkin seeds.
These are plants with anti-inflammatory properties that promote the reduction of urinary symptoms related to the increase in prostate volume.

COCOA
Finally, you shouldn’t feel guilty about falling for a little raw cocoa from time to time. And for good reason, the virtues and benefits of cocoa beans are incredible
According to Dr Addo.
Cocoa makes you happy!
If the cocoa contains anadamide otherwise called “molecule of happiness”. It acts on the brain like a euphoric.
2. It is an aphrodisiac
This is the reason why it is common to offer chocolate to your spouse! Raw cocoa contains phenylethylamine which triggers endorphins in the brain, which stimulates the reproductive organs and therefore improves libido.
3. Antioxidant
Cocoa is said to be one of the foods richest in flavonoids. It would thus reduce the risk of heart disease, bad cholesterol and it could even prevent certain cancers. According to an American study, raw cocoa contains twice as many antioxidants as red wine and more than three times as many as green tea.
4. Good for the nervous system
Rich in magnesium, raw cocoa lowers blood pressure and helps the nervous system to function properly.
5. Good for the skin
Rich in antioxidants, raw cocoa improves blood circulation, helps skin elasticity and gives it a beautiful glow. Moreover, raw cocoa would also protect the skin against the sun.
Christ Our Righteousness
Repentance, as well as forgiveness, is the gift of God through Christ. It is through the influence of the Holy Spirit that we are convicted of sin and feel our need of pardon. None but the contrite are forgiven; but it is the grace of God that makes the heart penitent. He is acquainted with all our weaknesses and infirmities, and He will help us.
Some who come to God by repentance and confession, and even believe that their sins are forgiven, still fail of claiming, as they should, the promises of God. They do not see that Jesus is an ever-present Saviour; and they are not ready to commit the keeping of their souls to Him, relying upon Him to perfect the work of grace begun in their hearts. While they think they are committing themselves to God, there is a great deal of self-dependence. There are conscientious souls that trust partly to God and partly to themselves. They do not look to God, to be kept by His power, but depend upon watchfulness against temptation and the performance of certain duties for acceptance with Him. There are no victories in this kind of faith. Such persons toil to no purpose; their souls are in continual bondage, and they find no rest until their burdens are laid at the feet of Jesus.
There is need of constant watchfulness and of earnest, loving devotion, but these will come naturally when the soul is kept by the power of God through faith. We can do nothing, absolutely nothing, to commend ourselves to divine favor. We must not trust at all to ourselves or to our good works; but when as erring, sinful beings we come to Christ, we may find rest in His love. God will accept every one that comes to Him trusting wholly in the merits of a crucified Saviour. Love springs up in the heart. There may be no ecstasy of feeling, but there is an abiding, peaceful trust. Every burden is light; for the yoke which Christ imposes is easy. Duty becomes a delight, and sacrifice a pleasure. The path that before seemed shrouded in darkness becomes bright with beams from the Sun of Righteousness. This is walking in the light as Christ is in the light.11 49.3

Gonorrhea complication
Untreated gonorrhea can lead to serious and permanent health complications, including:
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
In women, gonorrhea can spread to the uterus and fallopian tubes, causing PID. PID can lead to infertility, ectopic pregnancy, chronic pelvic pain, and scarring of the fallopian tubes.
Infertility
In men, gonorrhea can cause inflammation of the epididymis, the tube that stores and transports sperm. This inflammation is called epididymitis and can lead to infertility if left untreated.
Disseminated gonococcal infection
This rare but serious complication can occur when the gonorrhea bacteria spreads through the bloodstream and infects other parts of the body, such as the joints, heart, skin, or meninges. Symptoms include fever, rash, skin sores, joint pain, swelling, and stiffness.
Increased risk of HIV/AIDS
People with gonorrhea are more likely to get infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. People with both gonorrhea and HIV can more easily pass both diseases to their partners.
Complications in babies
Babies born to mothers with gonorrhea can develop blindness, scalp sores, and infections.
Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacteria Neisseria gonorrhoeae. It can be spread through vaginal fluid, semen, or sharing sex toys with an infected person.
Teaching In Parables
Thus Christ interpreted the message which He Himself had given to the lilies and the grass of the field. He desires us to read it in every lily and every spire of grass. His words are full of assurance, and tend to confirm trust in God.
So wide was Christ’s view of truth, so extended His teaching, that every phase of nature was employed in illustrating truth. The scenes upon which the eye daily rests were all connected with some spiritual truth, so that nature is clothed with the parables of the Master.
In the earlier part of His ministry, Christ had spoken to the people in words so plain that all His hearers might have grasped truths which would make them wise unto salvation. But in many hearts the truth had taken no root, and it had been quickly caught away. “Therefore speak I to them in parables.” He said; “because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand…. For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed.” Matthew 13:13-15.
Jesus desired to awaken inquiry. He sought to arouse the careless, and impress truth upon the heart. Parable teaching was popular, and commanded the respect and attention, not only of the Jews, but of the people of other nations. No more effective method of instruction could He have employed. If His hearers had desired a knowledge of divine things, they might have understood His words; for He was always willing to explain them to the honest inquirer.
Again, Christ had truths to present which the people were unprepared to accept or even to understand. For this reason also He taught them in parables. By connecting His teaching with the scenes of life, experience, or nature, He secured their attention and impressed their hearts. Afterward, as they looked upon the objects that illustrated His lessons, they recalled the words of the divine Teacher. To minds that were open to the Holy Spirit, the significance of the Saviour’s teaching unfolded more and more. Mysteries grew clear, and that which had been hard to grasp became evident. ( 21.1

Water is truly the source of life.
For a long time everyone has been waiting more or less to say that water is a source of life. But have you ever really asked yourself WHY?
Well, if you don’t know. This week I’m going to show you why everyone agrees that water is the source of life. 🗯
Okay in introduction know that the human organism is dominated by water for more than 72%
It’s really huge, isn’t it?
And yes, nevertheless true… 🙂
Therefore there is water in almost every part of our body.
Take a look:
➖The brain: 70% 💦
➖The skin: 82% 💦
➖Blood: 80% 💦
➖The lungs: 90% 💦
➖Muscle: 75% 💦
➖The skeleton: 22% 💦
Wow so even all these vital organs all contain water? 😱
Even the skeleton?
In any case, in the days that follow I will explain to you the impact of water on our body and the benefits and consequences on our body.
So obviously on health too.

Benefits of banana 🍌
The banana contains 3 natural sugars which are sucrose, fructose and glucose. It is also rich in protein, fiber, phosphorus, iron and vitamins and minerals. Energetic and very rich in water, bananas are generally important for the proper functioning of the body.
Here is a list of the fifteen greatest benefits of bananas.
– Against depression: bananas contain tryptophan which is a protein that the body converts into serotonin. Serotonin is known to be an excellent natural relaxant. Therefore, consuming bananas helps to have a good emotional state, to feel happier and therefore will considerably reduce depression.
– For concentration: this fruit is high in potassium, a vital mineral, which promotes concentration and learning because it makes the pupils more alert.
– Against nervousness: the banana is rich in vitamin B, which helps to relax the nervous system.
– Against stress: the potassium present in the banana helps to send oxygen to the brain and to keep a normal pulse. During a moment of stress, the lack of oxygen tends to increase, the pulse to accelerate and the potassium to decrease. A banana will help you regulate everything.
– Against anemia: the banana is very rich in iron which increases the production of hemoglobin in the blood, important during anemia.
– Against constipation: rich in fiber, bananas prevent constipation. Eating it daily can regulate the body.
– Against heartburn: a natural antacid is present in bananas which can relieve intestinal burns. During burns, eating bananas can soothe the pain.

As spicy as it is, cayenne pepper remains a spice with unsuspected virtues.
Cayenne pepper will help you lose weight, calm pain and itching… So many reasons to accept “burning” yourself a little to feel better later!
Cayenne pepper has other reputations that are much more plausible than that of burning our tongues. Scientific research has allowed us to learn more about this spice straight from the Caribbean and its virtues for our health, in particular about capsaicin, the main active component that gives it this very spicy taste.
A real fat burner:
A zest of cayenne pepper in the morning for breakfast, is that a bit exaggerated, you say? However, Quebec researchers have found that this is a good way to avoid the 10 o’clock hunger pangs because capsaicin is an unstoppable appetite suppressant that promotes the feeling of satiety.
This active ingredient also acts in the burning of calories, hence the interest in adding it each time in your recipes as the Indians do.
It protects the heart:
Already, it is an excellent antioxidant but it also prevents vascular narrowing by stabilizing blood sugar levels. So, if you fear a spike in blood sugar, add a pinch of this spice to your dish and you will be more reassured.
It relieves joint and nerve pain:
Cayenne pepper, used externally, is also a powerful analgesic that makes joint pain disappear in no time. Obviously, capsaicin will make itself known at the very beginning, but don’t worry, the burning sensations will gradually disappear.

This simple hack involves using natural leaves, such as bay leaves, mint leaves, or tea leaves, to create a health-boosting tea. Here are some of the benefits of boiling leaves:
1. Bay leaves:
They are known for their anti-inflammatory and digestive properties. Boiling a few leaves in water for 10 to 15 minutes and drinking the liquid can relieve an upset stomach and improve digestion.
2. Mint leaves*:
Mint is great for soothing the stomach, reducing bloating, and improving breathing. Drinking mint tea can also calm headaches and provide a refreshing feeling.
3. Green tea leaves:
Packed with antioxidants, they help detoxify the body, boost metabolism, and can aid in weight loss. A daily infusion can also improve mental clarity.
No matter which leaf you choose, drinking these teas regularly can provide you with many natural health benefits.
Teaching in parables
So through the creation we are to become acquainted with the Creator. The book of nature is a great lesson book, which in connection with the Scriptures we are to use in teaching others of His character, and guiding lost sheep back to the fold of God. As the works of God are studied, the Holy Spirit flashes conviction into the mind. It is not the conviction that logical reasoning produces; but unless the mind has become too dark to know God, the eye too dim to see Him, the ear too dull to hear His voice, a deeper meaning is grasped, and the sublime, spiritual truths of the written word are impressed on the heart.
In these lessons direct from nature, there is a simplicity and purity that makes them of the highest value. All need the teaching to be derived from this source. In itself the beauty of nature leads the soul away from sin and worldly attractions, and toward purity, peace, and God. Too often the minds of students are occupied with men’s theories and speculations, falsely called science and philosophy. They need to be brought into close contact with nature. Let them learn that creation and Christianity have one God. Let them be taught to see the harmony of the natural with the spiritual. Let everything which their eyes see or their hands handle be made a lesson in character building. Thus the mental powers will be strengthened, the character developed, the whole life ennobled.
Christ’s purpose in parable teaching was in direct line with the purpose of the Sabbath. God gave to men the memorial of His creative power, that they might discern Him in the works of His hand. The Sabbath bids us behold in His created works the glory of the Creator. And it was because He desired us to do this that Jesus bound up His precious lessons with the beauty of natural things. On the holy rest day, above all other days, we should study the messages that God has written for us in nature. We should study the Saviour’s parables where He spoke them, in the fields and groves, under the open sky, among the grass and flowers. As we come close to the heart of nature, Christ makes His presence real to us, and speaks to our hearts of His peace and love. And Christ has linked His teaching, not only with the day of rest, but with the week of toil. He has wisdom for him who drives the plow and sows the seed. In the plowing and sowing, the tilling and reaping, He teaches us to see an illustration of His work of grace in the heart. So in every line of useful labor and every association of life, He desires us to find a lesson of divine truth. Then our daily toil will no longer absorb our attention and lead us to forget God; it will continually remind us of our Creator and Redeemer. The thought of God will run like a thread of gold through all our homely cares and occupations. For us the glory of His face will again rest upon the face of nature. We shall ever be learning new lessons of heavenly truth, and growing into the image of His purity. Thus shall we “be taught of the Lord”; and in the lot wherein we are called, we shall “abide with God.” Isaiah 54:13; 1 Corinthians 7:24.
The Sower went forth to sow
This was the desire which Christ wished to arouse, that He might give them more definite instruction. He explained the parable to them, as He will make plain His word to all who seek Him in sincerity of heart. Those who study the word of God with hearts open to the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, will not remain in darkness as to the meaning of the word. “If any man willeth to do His will,” Christ said, “he shall know of the teaching whether it be of God, or whether I speak from Myself.” John 7:17, R.V. All who come to Christ for a clearer knowledge of the truth will receive it. He will unfold to them the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, and these mysteries will be understood by the heart that longs to know the truth. A heavenly light will shine into the soul temple, and will be revealed to others as the bright shining of a lamp on a dark path.
“The sower went forth to sow” (R.V.). In the East the state of affairs was so unsettled, and there was so great danger from violence that the people dwelt chiefly in walled towns, and the husbandmen went forth daily to their labor outside the walls. So Christ, the heavenly Sower, went forth to sow. He left His home of security and peace, left the glory that He had with the Father before the world was, left His position upon the throne of the universe. He went forth, a suffering, tempted man; went forth in solitude, to sow in tears, to water with His blood, the seed of life for a world lost.
His servants in like manner must go forth to sow. When called to become a sower of the seed of truth, Abraham was bidden, “Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will show thee.” Genesis 12:1. “And he went out, not knowing whither he went.” Hebrews 11:8. So to the apostle Paul, praying in the temple at Jerusalem, came the message from God, “Depart; for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.” Acts 22:21. So those who are called to unite with Christ must leave all, in order to follow Him. Old associations must be broken up, plans of life relinquished, earthly hopes surrendered. In toil and tears, in solitude, and through sacrifice, must the seed be sown. 36.2
DIABETES
Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when the body doesn’t produce enough insulin or can’t use it properly. Several factors and conditions contribute to varying degrees of insulin resistance, including obesity, lack of physical activity, diet, hormonal imbalances, genetics and certain medications. Autoimmune disease: Type 1 diabetes and LADA happen when your immune system attacks the insulin-producing cells in your pancreas. The exact cause of most types of diabetes is unknown. In all cases, sugar builds up in the bloodstream. This is because the pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin. Both type 1 and type 2 diabetes may be caused by a combination of genetic or environmental factors. The long-term effects of diabetes include damage to large and small blood vessels, which can lead to heart attack and stroke, and problems with the kidneys, eyes, feet and nerves.
- Urinate (pee) a lot, often at night.
- Are very thirsty.
- Lose weight without trying.
- Are very hungry.
- Have blurry vision.
- Have numb or tingling hands or feet.
- Feel very tired.
- Have very dry skin.
HEPATITIS

- Pain or bloating in the belly area.
- Dark urine and pale or clay-colored stools.
- Fatigue.
- Low grade fever.
- Itching.
- Jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes)
- Loss of appetite.
- Nausea and vomiting.
CANCER
Cancer cells have gene mutations that turn the cell from a normal cell into a cancer cell. These gene mutations may be inherited, develop over time as we get older and genes wear out, or develop if we are around something that damages our genes, like cigarette smoke, alcohol or ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. Cancer is caused by certain changes to genes, the basic physical units of inheritance. Genes are arranged in long strands of tightly packed DNA called chromosomes. Cancer is a genetic disease—that is, it is caused by changes to genes that control the way our cells function, especially how they grow and divide. Inherited Gene Mutations vs.
Breast cancer and colon cancer are types of cancer that can be genetically inherited. Most gene mutations occur after birth and are caused by environmental factors, like radiation and carcinogens. These are known as “somatic mutations” and are the most common causes of cancer.
Cancer can have many symptoms, but they vary depending on the part of the body affected:
- General symptoms: Fatigue, unexplained weight loss or gain, fever or night sweats, unexplained pain or ache .
- Eating problems: Trouble swallowing, belly pain, nausea and vomiting, feeling full without eating .
- Lumps or swelling: Persistent lumps or swelling in any part of the body, include the neck, armpit, stomach, groin, chest, breast and testicles.
MALARIA
Malaria is a disease caused by a parasite. The parasite is spread to humans through the bites of infected mosquitoes. People who have malaria usually feel very sick with a high fever and shaking chills. While the disease is uncommon in temperate climates, malaria is still common in tropical and subtropical countries. Malaria in humans is caused by five related protozoan (single-celled) parasites: Plasmodium falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale, P. malariae, and P.
- transmission.
- Intensity of transmission may vary with factors related to:
- Humans, who are the intermediate hosts, become infected by the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito.
- Phases of malaria infection:
- pre-erythrocyte schizogony.
- erythrocytic schizogony.
- gametogony.
GONORRHEA
Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection, also called a sexually transmitted disease, caused by bacteria.
What are 5 symptoms of gonorrhea?
- Pain or burning when you pee.
- The urge to pee more than usual.
- Unusual vaginal discharge.
- Vaginal bleeding between periods.
- Painful sex.
- Pain in your belly.
- A fever.
INFERTILITY
Infertility is a disease of the male or female reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a pregnancy after 12 months or more. For public health data collection, infertility is defined as not being able to get pregnant (conceive) after 1 year (or longer) of unprotected sex. OKRA (OKRO)

While its fibers trap cholesterol particles before they settle on the walls of the arteries, its antioxidant content helps fight against oxidative stress responsible for the development of cardiovascular disease.
Okra helps prevent cancer
In particular colon and rectal cancers thanks to its richness in protective antioxidants, but also in fibres. How do these work? By fermenting in the colon, the fibers generate short-chain fatty acids, including butyrate, a substance capable of inhibiting the proliferation of colorectal cancer cells.
Okra is good against diabetes
Because it is low in calories, but above all rich in fiber, the consumption of okra is an asset to reduce the overall glycemic index of the meal. Indeed, they inhibit the enzyme alpha-glucosidase which breaks down carbohydrates and therefore improves the insulin sensitivity of cells.
It regulates cholesterol levels
Thanks to its high fiber content, okra helps reduce “bad” cholesterol and prevents the accumulation of fat in the body. In addition, it contains no cholesterol and very little fat.
It fights fatigue
Okra seeds contain antioxidants and polyphenols that promote glycogen storage in the liver and therefore increase cell energy.
It regulates hunger
Okra is rich in soluble fiber that helps prolong the feeling of satiety, stay full longer, reduce cravings and therefore better control weight.

CARDIAC ARREST
There are many signs that can indicate cardiac arrest. Here are some of the most common signs:
1. Loss of consciousness: The person may suddenly collapse and stop responding to stimuli, such as calls, gentle shaking or shoulder tapping.
2. Absence of breathing or abnormal breathing: The person may not breathe at all or present abnormal breathing, such as gasps or gurgling noises.
3. Absence of pulse: If you check the person’s pulse (at the neck, wrist or groin) for about 10 seconds, you shouldn’t feel a pulse.
4. Change in skin color: The skin may become pale, gray or bluish, especially around the lips, nails and face.
If you observe these signs, it’s important to act quickly:
1. Call the emergency services immediately.
2. Start cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by performing chest compressions. Place the palms of your hands in the center of the person’s chest and perform deep, rapid compressions at a rate of about 100 to 120 compressions per minute.
3. If possible, use an automated external defibrillator (AED) if one is available nearby.
Remember that this information is provided for guidance only, and that it is essential to learn basic first aid and obtain specific training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
IMPORTANCE OF SEX

The leaves are also used to treat filariasis and jaundice, and crushing the green leaves is used to treat wounds, sores and sinusitis. Powder can also be made from the dried leaves to apply to wounds.
VENTILATION
The movement of fresh air around a closed space, or the system that does this: Her room had poor ventilation and in summer it became unbearably stuffy. a ventilation system. It is the process of air flowing into the lungs during inspiration (inhalation) and out of the lungs during expiration (exhalation). Air flows because of pressure differences between the atmosphere and the gases inside the lungs.
Ventilation refers to the exchange of indoor and outdoor air. Without proper ventilation, an otherwise insulated and airtight house will seal in harmful pollutants, such as carbon monoxide, and moisture that can damage a house. Proper ventilation helps keep a home energy-efficient, safe, and healthy.
